My husband and I met Sarah 3 years ago, we went out with her off and on over these three years looking at different places. Sarah was excellent, whenever we called she was available and more than happy to show us homes. We never felt like we were wasting her time, we never felt pressured to make a decision, she was there for us. We felt very comfortable with her, we could trust her opinion and really felt she was looking after our best interest. We genuinely feel like there are no words that adequately convey how vital Sarah was to us surviving the sale of our old house and purchase of our new home. We just told her we wanted to move and when; from that point she was in charge and handled every aspect of the sale of our house and the purchase of our new home. This allowed us to continue with our lives, work our jobs, and raise our kids without ever feeling like there was this monumental task of selling our home hanging over us. We were able to relax and enjoy the process of finding our forever home without the stress that typically comes with moving.

Her patience with us was nothing short of astonishing. Late night conversations and sales strategy discussions that accommodated our family’s insane schedule never felt rushed. Sarah always took the time to fully explain what was going on with the sale of our house and always had a plan of action in place for every house we viewed.

We really felt like Sarah took us under her wing and fought for us the way she would if she were buying the property for her own family. Sarah was often fighting for us and calling out agents who were wasting our time or trying to bully us into over paying. We would often just chalk that behavior up to being part of the process but Sarah stood up for us making sure we were never taken advantage of. It felt like she had a vested interest in us and our growing family that extended far beyond the obvious 'I'm being paid to care'.

Sarah is an absolute pleasure to work with. She was recommended to us by a few individuals and we will be forever thankful we connected with her. Moving for anyone can be a very stressful process whether you are a renter or a buyer.  Going at it alone can be dreadful, frustrating and exhausting.  Finding the right agent that can narrow down the search to exactly what you are looking for can be difficult.  Seven years ago when looking for a rental property I stumbled on a house listed under Realtor, Sarah Brophy-Platts. After describing my preferences and needs in a rental property immediately she knew this particular house was not for me and she was right.  Quickly, Sarah went to bat narrowing down the search to exactly what I was looking for. It wasn't long before she found me a place for myself and my children.  When talking to the owners about the lease Sarah was with me throughout the whole process negotiating on my behalf and making sure I was comfortable and understood the lease. 

Four years later, when we had to relocate to a nearby city, without hesitation I contacted Sarah back for another house-hunting adventure.  Again, she scored a home run finding a perfect house in size, location and price range. A year and a half later, sadly, our landlord was being transferred for work and selling the property I was renting.  Yet again I reached out to Sarah to work her magic. During the short process of getting us into another perfect property I expressed to Sarah I was getting tired of renting and wanted to explore buying a house of my own.  By following a year’s worth of her suggestions, advice and her happily answering about a million questions; I was ready to buy a home. Being a single parent and moving further away, initially was quite scary, but my well-developed faith in Sarah’s ability to see me through was nothing short of comforting.  The location was too far outside of Sarah's normal service area and she felt that she wouldn't have the 'leg up' that a local Realtor would have. So she referred me to a Realtor that would live up to not only MY expectations but HERS too.  Even though I was very confident with the Realtor she provided me with, Sarah still supported me through the four months of buying my first home.  Four moves later and I can trust Sarah Brophy-Platts will always be there to ease all of my real estate needs. 

Buying a house was the hardest thing we have ever had to do. If it wasn't for Sarah, our dream would NEVER have become a reality. She went above and beyond every step of the way, from sending us every listing, booking showings same day if need be, to physically helping us move furniture, hang pictures, and clean our new house (family perks) but I do know she treats all her clients as if they were family, Sarah was very professional and treated us like she treats ALL her clients. There is no one else I would trust to find the perfect home.

Looking for my first place with absolutely no positive credit history, finding an affordable place in just a few months on Craigslist, Kijiji, etc was just impossible. Sarah went above and beyond more than once in order for me to actually land the place that I'm in right now. Without her, I can't imagine where I'd be right now. I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone, 10 times out of 10.
